William B. Yeats
A Drinking Song
Wine comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
I look at you, and I sigh.
A Texas girl trying to navigate the rough waters of love, life and relationships.

you make me want to memorize poetry so i can try to recite it back to someone i love.
Oh - you should - it is VERY romantic. Really sets the mood. Of course, perhaps not so much drinking poems - but those set a mood as well.
