A Pirate's Life for Me......
I went to see Treasure Island this Saturday. Then I climbed into a bottle of rum, and am still waiting for the world to stop rocking. Argh!

MMM, Rum. It tastes so good going down you forget it's not going to be so good the next day.
Oh - not just one day of rum drinking. It was a non-stop party weekend. Of course, it was more like rum, tequlia, champaign, wine, vodka.....and during the last stage of my drunken stupor, I stopped (well, someone stopped I was not driving at this point) at 1/2 price books and purchased three books. Can't remember which three, but I am really looking forward to reading them!
Treasure Island? The hotel? A movie? I am confused. LOL.
Treasure Island a play, based on the book by Robert Louis Stevenson. It was really fun, I think more fun because there were lots of kids in the audience, that got very excited about the sword fights and pirates.
Sorry I was not very clear, still felt odd and queasy yesterday....
No wonder I was confused! I was like "hmm, I haven't heard that this is being made into a movie or anything" LOL
You know, I never liked Treasure Island. I much much prefer The Black Arrow. I think that was one of his best novels.
But that's just me and I know everyone looooves TI best. :-(
