Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell was first published on this date in 1936. I love this book and as a birthday gift to myself, I read it every February.

This is probably my all time favorite book/movie. Love both. I just did a re-read of this myself a few months ago and fell in love all over again.
Great b-day gift, IMO.
Well - I will admit my oddity. I have never seen the movie, I love the book so much I can't bring myself to watch the movie.
