My bad....

Because Holly wants one and since I was too lazy to add it the first time; here is the link for making your own Warhol. There are lots of interesting things here.

If I knew...

Andy Warhol, perhaps he would have created this for me. Perhaps, if I were not so bored at the office, I would never have created this.

Postsecret

I read the postsecret blog every week. Sometimes there is a card that reminds me of the pain of ending a relationship or the empty feeling of being alone. But then there are the cards that grant me the rare glimpse inside the male mind. Cards that show their hurt or deep love. When I come across these secrets, I save them. I look at them, touching upon them like a lucky rabbit’s foot. They remind me that men are not evil or cruel. I realize that there are many amazing men out there, swimming the same seas I am. It allows me to continue holding on to the dream of being with my special someone. Perhaps someone thinks these things about me or will eventually. That fills me with joy and gives me a little faith.

Friday's Child

Friday’s child giving you a short story regarding good manners. I am having lunch with a friend. Suddenly, an older lady at the next table turns her head towards us and sneezes on my friend. Amazed at the sight, I exclaim rather loudly, “Did she just sneeze on you?” The lady actually turns back to us and said “It is just allergies, I am not contagious.” Seriously. That is what she said. I. Am. Not. Contagious. With, I must say, a bit of an attitude. Oh sorry, then it was okay for you to actually shower me with your spit. I could not contain my laughter. I hope the woman felt a bit foolish, but sadly, I imagine that she will spend the rest of her allergy season sneezing all over Houston.

Weather here in Houston? Sunny with short bursts of rain.
